If Sidmouth's children haven't caught the 'gardening bug' before they get to school, the schools throughout our valley ensure that they soon will. Each of our schools have areas for pupils to garden, growing vegetables and flowers in a sustainable way. Their love of plants, ecology and bio-diversity is reflected in their art and put to practical use when they design floral displays for the school's area of the Connaught Gardens which they plant up under the watchful eye of Mark Pollard Parks Development Officer and Darren Cross of the East Devon District Council's Parks Department, |
